Welcome to my homepage! I'm a Wisconsinite who double majored in Computer Science and Biochemistry from Cornell College. In 2017, I earned a PhD in Bioinformatics from Iowa State University.

Here is a quote from a nextflow paper (Tommaso et al., 2017):

Small variations across computational platforms also contribute to computational irreproducibility by producing numerical instability, which is especially relevant to high-performance computational (HPC) environments that are routinely used for omics analyses. We present a solution to this instability named Nextflow, a workflow management system that uses Docker technology for the multi-scale handling of containerized computation.
